Hello there! I’m Reagan, the heart and soul behind Southern Simplicities. I’ve been in the wedding industry for almost four years, working alongside multiple coordinators and venues, and have been booking weddings on my own since 2023. I love stepping into a wedding day and bringing your dreams to life!
I work best with couples who care about their marriage more than just the wedding - who want a day of celebration with loved ones and value faith. My goal is simple: to help you execute your dream day by taking care of the things stressing you out so you can be fully present with your loved ones, making your wedding intentional, beautiful, and unforgettable.
How I Got HereI got my start in wedding coordination almost three years ago with Corrie Stephen Events, and I’ve been working with Corrie ever since. I quickly fell in love with the pace, the problem-solving, the people — and the beautiful purpose behind helping a day run smoothly so the couple can truly soak it all in.
Around the same time, I took a floral design class at Auburn University — where I studied Agriscience Education — and let’s just say I was instantly hooked. Since then, the Lord has opened doors in ways I never imagined, allowing me to serve couples through floral design and Planning in a way that celebrates the beauty, meaning, and joy of their big day. He’s given me the opportunity to execute a timeline, communicate with vendors, and witness how the Lord has worked in everyone's life - developing their gifts and their hearts in unique ways, all making up the body of Christ.
What started as a class turned into a passion, passion grew into opportunities, and those opportunities grew into Fading Florals and Southern Simplicities.
My favorite moments are the quiet ones - when couples pause to pray over each other, read the Word, or share a fleeting moment with the Lord before the ceremony begins. When we slow down and intentionally seek those glimpses of faith and connection are what make the day unforgettable, and I feel honored to witness them.
And my absolute favorite part is meeting the family members that stay late to help clean up or meeting that aunt who loves you so dearly she woke up early to come and set up the breakfast for you and your bridesmaids. Meeting the people that love you so dearly they wanted to be a part of your day, and getting to team up with them to make this day unforgettable, is something that truly powers me to do this work. Having the opportunity to do so while partnering with your team using my gift to glorify the Lord and make his name known, is the greatest privilege.
I thank God for every opportunity I have to do this.
